About the session
How did I go from a UX researcher and Service Designer who was burnt out from seeing government services let people down to a digital strategist with a focus on measurement and data?
It wasn’t a straight line, but in this talk I’ll share some hard won lessons and why now I approach change making inside institutions with data at the heart of being human centred.
Participant Takeaways:
- Feelings are data…. They are useful, but how should we use them?
- How those of us less inclined to use spreadsheets and BI tools can get more comfortable in data analysis. (Spoiler: data is a team sport)
- Why and how service designers should bridge the world of human centred and data practices.
- How using data has shown up as an important tool in my burnout prevention plan.
