GOV discount

People employed by, or contracted as a freelancer to, a public organisation (Government, Health, Emergency Services, Defence) receive a 10% discount with code 10GOV. The discount does not apply to consultancy employees, associates, or anyone providing services to customers in those sectors. This discount becomes available after the Early Bird tickets have ended.

Early Bird pricing is available until 14 August, unless tickets sell out earlier.

Frequently asked questions

Can I choose which sessions I attend?

Yes. We run multiple tracks with interactive sessions throughout the day, so you can mix and match to build your own journey through the conference.

How do I purchase a ticket via credit card?

We use Eventbrite for card payments, book directly at Eventbrite.

How do I make a group booking or purchase via invoice?

For group bookings or invoice payments, contact us and we will sort it out.

Can I participate from outside the UK?

Absolutely, we have had many participants join us from across the world. The event will run in the London (GMT) timezone, but we have seen participants join us through the night from Canada.

Will you be recording sessions?

Yes, we aim to record all the sessions and make them available via catch-up, however this will be dependent on permissions from the speakers and their organisations.

Supporter discounts

Promo codes are available through event supporters and user groups. Check your user group or contact your group organiser and ask them to support the event.

Do you offer refunds?

If we receive written notice of cancellation more than 90 days before the event, we will refund the fees paid less a £50 plus VAT administration fee. No refund is provided for cancellations received 90 days or less before the event. See our terms and conditions for details.

Opportunity tickets

We want SDinGov to be accessible to great people. If you would benefit from participating but would not otherwise be able to afford it - for example if you are on low or no wage, or from an underrepresented group in this community - please get in touch. We offer a limited number of one day opportunity tickets, and will review requests carefully and respond as quickly as we can.

What our participants say

SDinGov is a practical public sector service design conference that allows participants to connect and learn from their peers and leaders in the industry. Participants will include Government employees, consultants and design agencies.

The event is aimed primarily at professionals who either manage, design or develop public services including within:

  • central & local government
  • the 3rd sector, Arts
  • Education sector services
  • Health sector services
  • Emergency sector services
  • civic technologies

We also welcome participants who want to learn from the public sector and apply those learnings in a different setting.
